Admission to Portland State University is fairly easy aboutNov 09 2005Electrical Engineering
Admission to Portland State University is fairly easy; about 80% of its applicants are admitted. Just maintain a GPA higher than 3.2 (not just the standard 3.0), have SAT scores higher than 1100, and you are pretty much gauranteed a spot within the student body.

I transferred to Portland State University from Portland CommunityMay 24 2005Sociology
I transferred to Portland State University from Portland Community College - saved me some money taking that route, and PCC is a stellar school. PSU is great, but the faculty are less approachable than at PCC, mostly I suspect this is due to the numbers of students and pressures to produce research. Overall, I am very pleased with both schools.

It was easy to get into PSUMar 23 2005Business - Management and Administration
It was easy to get into PSU. All you have to do is fill out the application, pay the application fee, and you are pretty much in. PSU is Oregon's largest university, with over 20,000 students, so I am pretty sure they accept almost anyone.
